Welcome to the website of Dan McGuffin's

 Ontario Attack Force

Kirishima

We are an ircwcc ( International Radio controlled warship combat club) affiliated club for 1:144 scale warship combat

The goal of this website is to tell people what we do and how it all works

Please browse the website and we will explain it all

We use ships in 1:144 scale which have been specially prepared for Warship combat

For example the hull is covered with very thin 1/32 balsa wood which allow the bb's that are fired from the guns mounted on the ships to penetrate and cause damage either below or above the waterline.

The typical setup for a 3.5 unit cruiser (most cruisers around 10000 tonnes original displacement) is 1 pump of 1 unit, 1 BB gun with a 75 rounds magazine (1.5 units) and a 1 unit 50 rounds Magazine BB gun

Explanation of this all follows in more detail in the Documents section.

Anyway, can someone do a little house cleaning on the forum?

Update on my end:
Szent Istvan is gutted except for the drive mount since I forgot to bring allen keys with me home. Looking to divide my power supply box into two narrow ones instead, to be completed in February.

I have a new addition to my Austro-Hungarian fleet, SMS Tatra. A little destroyer with 1 unit, maybe with a 1/2 cannon or if that is too big, it will be a convoy. Had some time last week to made a plug, then a mould. I layed up some fibreglass but this slow-set epoxy I used is really slow to set.
